Peter Athans - Legendary Everest Climber
Legendary mountain climber who has summited Mt. Everest seven times. Peter is also a high altitude film maker, working on films for NOVA, National Geographic, and in the featur e film, "Seven Years in Tibet". Peter was awarded the highest honor from the American Alpine Club for the rescue of Beck Weathers in the 1996 Everest tragedy
